All sports are setup with equipment available for use, see below for exceptions.
The camp provides tennis balls, baseballs, basketballs, footballs, soccer balls, volleyballs, kickballs, pickleballs and pickleball paddles.
If you prefer your own pickleball paddle, you can opt to bring your own.
Swimming
There is swimming in the pool and in the lake. Swimming is only allowed when a lifeguard is on duty. Life jackets are required in the lake, and those life jackets are provided by the camp. The pool is heated to 80 degrees. We will keep the pool open as early and as late as possible, times TBD. The lake will be open for swimming and boating from dawn till dusk.
Boating
There will be canoes and kayaks available for our guests to take out on the lake on a first come, first serve basis. Boating is permitted while a lake lifeguard is on duty and you must wear a life jacket on the boats. We will also be renting a pontoon boat on Saturday which will take 10-12 people around the lake at a time. It is a private lake owned by the camp, so the ride around the lake would be peaceful and nice for people who prefer not to swim but want to experience a water activity.
Fishing
There is a designated fishing area on a beautiful rock overlooking the lake. It is a private lake with mostly Perch and Bass. If you would like to fish over the weekend, morning hours are best. You have to bring all of your own equipment. The camp does not provide any fishing equipment.
Tennis
Please bring your own tennis racket if you’d like to play tennis, that’s one thing the camp does not provide.
Camp Counselors
You’re invited to sign up to do something extra special during the wedding weekend. If you’d like to be more hands on and involved, want to lead a sport or activity, or create a special moment for guests to enjoy, please sign up to be a camp counselor via your RSVP form. Everyone is welcome, but there’s no pressure at all to volunteer for this.
Friday Night Variety Show
We are hosting a welcome party with a variety show after our Friday night BBQ dinner. We will gather at the amphitheater to host a welcome show where we invite our guests to the stage. We would love for you to participate. Let us know you are interested via your RSVP form. You can also jump in by surprise in the heat of the moment if you don’t want to plan or let us know ahead of time.
