The bridal party

Amanda (Mandy) Altice | Matron of Honor

I vividly remember being away at summer camp for the first time. The camp seemed like it was a far-off land, and I had to make all new friends for two whole weeks. The only way to communicate with the outside world was through letters, real handwritten letters. I remember writing home that I was so excited to meet my new cousin who would arrive while I was at camp. I was playing at the pool when a counselor had me come to the office, my mom called to tell me Brooke was born.
One of the greatest treasures of being a part of Brooke’s life from the beginning has been her unbound enthusiasm for the people she loves. To this day whenever I see her for the first time she screams “MY MANDY” and now she the one lifting me off my feet with a big hug. She gives this love freely to her world and it has been beautiful to see the way this love has built one half of the beautiful life we are celebrating this summer with Brooke and Peter’s Wedding.
